The CFPB Consumer Complaint Program is established to provide consumers with a formal and accessible channel through which to submit complaints, report potential violations of applicable consumer protection laws and regulations, and bring concerns regarding financial products, services, and institutional practices to the Bureau's attention.

The program is intended to promote transparency, accountability, and the fair treatment of consumers by facilitating the submission, review, and assessment of reported concerns. Every submission is documented and subject to an appropriate review process to determine whether further attention or action may be warranted.

Upon completing and submitting the complaint form, consumers will receive an email confirmation once their submission has been reviewed and registered. This notification will include an assigned case reference number, which should be retained for future correspondence, status inquiries, and any follow-up communication regarding the matter.

The Bureau is committed to maintaining an orderly and transparent complaint process while ensuring that submitted concerns are handled in accordance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.
